Arizona race day

Today was a big day marking the end of my 2014 race calendar and completing #40 of my 50 state challenge.  

It was a cold morning in the desert hovering in the upper 30s as we waited for the race to start.  But, after that it was 13.1 miles of flat highway on Route 77 with beautiful views of the mountains all around.  It was a great course and a nice way to end the year.  I finished in 1:42:17.

And now I look forward to Key West next month to kick off 2015.  It was a good year and I have a feeling it's going to be an even better 2015.
