2014 was a great year that continued my journey running and traveling across the country. I tackled the deep south, finished the northeast, continued through the Midwest, and finally saw the Pacific northwest. The final tally came in at 13 states/half marathons completed.
So here goes. The year began in Mobile, Alabama, then continued in the deep South with a trip to Oxford, Mississippi, moved on to Little Rock, followed by Kentucky to see the tracks and enjoy some bourbon, afterwards flying to Salt Lake City to see the beautiful mountains of the Pacific northwest, followed by Fargo, and then back to the west coast to Portland where I saw my good friend Jenne, then met up with my nephew Richy and buddy Matt in Milwaukee, followed by Idaho Falls, before getting in the car for a road trip to Vermont with my good friends Colleen and Jon, then back to the heartland to Omaha, Des Moines, and then Indianapolis meeting my brother-in-law Rich, before finally finishing the year in Tucson.
Whew! Oh and a nice perk from all this flying ... I finally made it to Premier Silver status on United Airlines!
A great year and looking forward to an even better one in 2015!
