It was a rainy arrival into Traverse City today. I made it to my cabin at Lakes 'N Pines Lodge and was able to get to downtown Traverse City (Front St) by the time the sun went down.
It was a good first day. The cabin is nestled in the woods through some winding roads, which is pretty cool. The pictures below will show how cozy it is (cool fireplace) and a good place to come home to after long days ahead.
Tomorrow through Saturday I'll be driving out on some routes to see how the colors have changed. Friday my good friends Andy and Kerry come in to join me. I'm pretty excited about that as this is my last race before 50 so it'll be nice to have some friends here for this.
