The Jingle All The Way 8K was this past weekend and the running Gods decided it would be a good day for the first snow fall of the season. It certainly added to the Christmas spirit.
I ran it with my sister and friends from my running group. It was a fun race and a good training day. I ran the 2 1/2 miles from my apartment to the start line at Freedom Plaza (downtown DC), completed the 8K, and then ran back to my apartment.
I then spent the rest of the day on my warm couch watching the snow.
