It was a day filled with mountains and lakes and then more mountains and lakes followed by even more mountains and lakes. You'll see what I mean when you scroll through the pictures below.
It was difficult to know when to stop looking for the best picture because the entire day was filled with incredible scenes. I started at 7 am driving from Missoula to Whitefish with a few stops along the way at Polson and Flathead Lake. That was followed by lunch in Whitefish followed by a quick stop at Whitefish Lake.
At that point I started driving over to Glacier National Park to take the Going-to-the-Sun Road. It's a winding road (I'd recommend those afraid of heights to approach with caution) up the entire mountain with incredible views of lakes, mountains and mountain tops.
